It’s called “Yamashita Tomohisa. Route 66~Lone America tour”
Yamashita’s “Journey of self-discovery” took place from November 3-18 as he drove himself cross-country in a 1985 Chevrolet C-20.
Route 66 has become a symbol of American culture since it was America’s first transcontinental highway. He traveled from 3755 km (2333 miles) on a solo trip (no manager, stylist, washing his clothes, cooking his own food) from Chicago, Illinois to Santa Monica, California. This documentary special will air on January 2nd, 2012.
This programme will go on for 3 months. Airing every monday late night at 1:29am.
